The short version
  • We collect your photos, your email if you give it, and basic usage data.
  • Location data (EXIF/GPS) is stripped from every upload.
  • Free users’ photos are deleted after 30 days; paid results stay until you delete them.
  • We don’t use your photos to train AI models, and we never sell your data.
  • Email us any time to get or delete your data.

Who is responsible

Menu Photo Enhancer is responsible for your personal information. Contact: hello@menuphotoenhancer.com.

What we collect

  • Photos you upload and the results we make from them, plus an optional dish name.
  • Your email, if you give it to sign in, get extra free photos, or contact us.
  • Payment details are handled by Stripe. We see the purchase, not your full card number.
  • Usage data: pages viewed and product events (like “photo started”), a random browser id, and a one-way hash of your IP address used for free-photo limits and abuse prevention.
  • A session cookie that keeps track of your photos and balance.

How we use it

  • To make your photos and deliver your downloads.
  • To run free-photo limits, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
  • To process payments and send sign-in links and service emails.
  • To understand which features work so we can improve them.

AI processing

To create a result, your photo is sent to AI image-processing subprocessors acting on our behalf. They process it only to create your image. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not allow them to be sold.

How long we keep it

  • Uploads and results from free users: deleted after 30 days.
  • Paid results: kept until you delete them or close your account.
  • EXIF and GPS metadata: removed when you upload, never stored.
  • Purchase records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, storage, AI processing, payments, email and analytics), under contracts that limit their use of it. Before/after share links you create are visible to anyone who has the link until you delete them. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@menuphotoenhancer.com. You can delete share links from your account. You can block cookies in your browser, but the tool needs its session cookie to work.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (email, hashed IP, browser id), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (usage events) and photos you upload, for the purposes above. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. Email hello@menuphotoenhancer.com to make a request; we will verify it using your account email.

Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change; the date at the top shows the latest version.
